Welcome to Skinmate. By using the app you agree to these terms. Skinmate is for learning and enjoyment, not medical advice.
Educational purpose only
Skinmate teaches skincare routine habits and product-category concepts. It does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. For any concern about your skin or health, please see a healthcare professional.
The Coach can talk about how a routine suits skin that feels dry, tight, shiny or easily bothered, because those are cosmetic questions. It will not tell you what something is, and it will point you to a professional when something sounds sore, spreading, or not settling down.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Skinmate, or older where your country sets a higher age for consenting to online services.
Coach usage
The Coach has a daily limit on the free plan so it stays available to everyone. Reaching it is not a penalty, and the rest of Skinmate keeps working.
Premium raises that allowance to a monthly one. It changes how much you can ask the Coach and nothing else: every mission, badge, game, coupon and Circle feature is the same on both plans.
Premium subscriptions
Premium is a recurring subscription sold through Apple or Google, not by us. The price and the billing period are shown to you before you confirm, in your own currency.
It renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from your Apple or Google account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep premium until the period you already paid for ends.
Because the store takes the payment, the store also handles refunds. We cannot issue one, but Apple and Google both have a process for it.
If a subscription lapses, the Coach returns to the free allowance. Nothing you learned, earned or unlocked is taken away.
Coins, rewards, and coupons
Skinmate coins are an in-app reward currency only. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Milestone coupons are optional thank-yous from Badabeauty, separate from coins, and subject to their own terms at checkout.
Being kind in the Circle
The Circle is for gentle encouragement. Only badges and milestones can be shared; there is no free-text posting. Please use it kindly.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app grows. Continued use means you accept the current version.
